Stay requirement needs written clarification: the category page says 90 days annually and refers to ages 25–49 for dependant fulfilment; the general guidelines describe the rule for participants below 50. Applicants aged 21–24 or 50+ should confirm the applicable treatment with MOTAC or their licensed operator.

Application journey

Property and immigration move together.

  1. Check eligibility

SEZ/SFZ entry age is 21+. Check nationality and personal circumstances under the official guidelines.

  2. Appoint a licensed operator

Applications go through a MOTAC-licensed MM2H business and the programme’s One Stop Centre. Verify the operator in the official register.

  3. Follow the approval conditions

Immigration controls final approval. Follow the approval letter for deposit, medical and documentary obligations.

  4. Confirm the qualifying property

Obtain written confirmation of the unit, purchase route and state requirements before committing. Ownership alone does not grant a pass.

  5. Maintain and renew

Track passport validity, residence obligations and renewal documents with the operator.

Plan your budget

A deposit is only one part of the cost.

Budget separately for the property, legal work, transaction charges, medical checks, insurance, pass charges and operator fees. Request an itemised written quotation; the fixed deposit is not the total programme cost.

Chris can assist with the property shortlist. Immigration applications and eligibility advice must be handled through a licensed MM2H operator. This site does not represent that Chris holds an MM2H operator licence.

Is approval guaranteed if I buy a property?

No. Immigration approval and property ownership are separate processes.

Can I automatically work under this category?

Do not assume work rights. See the category restrictions above and obtain advice for your specific activity.

Is every resale or villa automatically eligible?

No blanket eligibility claim is made here. Confirm the exact property and purchase route with the operator and lawyer.
